haven’t seen any posts about it. Also, here’s a not-car I saw at work.

Mildly. My boys claim to be big soccer fans, but they turn on the games and ignore them until the announcer starts shouting. It’s been interesting to see so many draws and upsets. I look forward to the elimination rounds.

Absolutely! I’m loving it so far.

We’ve really just gone all out this year. It’s fun to watch how many different styles of play there are.
Last world cup I was in Europe and often times in country when they were playing so I had a blast. That definitely drew me back in and we’ll be having weekly parties until the final. The boy (nephew) doesn’t care, he’s almost 3

Its been a blast watching so far, I’ve been able to watch most of the games too. Waiting for eliminations though before I get too excited. Also, Japan was a surprise today.

A bit, this is the first time I’ve had to juggle being a “working” adult and the World Cup in one go, so I haven’t been into it as much. I catch the 90s highlight reel every morning.
Loving the upsets, even if it’s shattering my preconceived notions of Germany being superior. Group H is almost playing to my predictions, though I pegged Colombia as the top-seed.

Well America fucked it up (seems to be a trend all around), next up would be Germany because I spent 3 years there and they won while I was there. Belgium has great beer so I’m happy to see them move along. Iceland is an underdog and I like that.

I am rooting for Peru because they have a llama on the flag. My wife is uninterested in soccer, so no soccer for me until the later rounds. Also the games are all during work, but I would record and watch a game a day if I could.

There have only been three draws in 17 matches!

Well, as I said, only watching mildly.

Ha, gotcha. I am a little more into it than maybe I care to admit.

The Senegal-Poland game was great to watch, possibly one of the best of the tournament IMO. I’d say Portugal-Spain and Germany-Mexico were also up there, though I missed seeing Belgium, Sweden, and France play.

The only game I’ve gotten to see any of so far was the last 15 minutes of Iceland’s draw with Argentina, but it was fun to watch. I was really worried Argentina would score on that penalty kick. Nothing against them, I just love rooting for the underdog.
